Indications
Arnica gel is used to relieve ecchymoses (bruises) and other bruises caused by bumps. For maximum efficiency, the gel should be applied to the area to be treated as soon as possible after the trauma. To favor the action of the arnica gel, it should be lightly massaged in order to make it penetrate properly. The application of the gel can then be renewed one hour later, then three to four times a day if necessary.\

The arnica gel should not be applied on the mucous membranes, the eyes, on an open, suppurating or infected wound. On the other hand, this treatment is contraindicated in people susceptible to an allergy to arnica or one of its components. Arnica gel is available for sale without a prescription.
Side effects
