CHARACTERISTICS
Traditionally, horse chestnut has been used as anti-inflammatory and venotonic (decreasing the permeability of blood vessels and capillaries). In this way, it prevents fluid retention and favors proper circulation, especially in the lower extremities, in cases of varicosis and chronic venous insufficiency (swelling, tingling, heaviness, nocturnal cramps). Its action lies in the ability to reduce the destruction of proteoglycans (structural substances in the walls of blood vessels) and improve calcium intake.

Additionally it has preventive and therapeutic action in cases of hemorrhoids.
